Never Too Late was founded in 2000 when it began granting wishes at a senior living center in Indianapolis. This story, produced by Moved as a multimedia piece, marks the granting of Never Too Late’s 1,800th wish. It’s the story of a man who grew up in Louisiana and, in true cajun style, wanted to have one last crawfish boil with his family.

Never Too late grants wishes every week in any size and shape. They have been as simple as a bus ticket to see a distant relative and as involved as an invitation to sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Anyone can get involved in the wish granting process, whether you know an elderly person with a wish, or you would like to give or volunteer to help make other wishes happen. Visit Never Too Late’s web site at www.nevertoolate.org.

Moved is currently working on marketing material for World Refugee Day in partnership with Exodus Refugee Immigration. Exodus is an awesome organization that helps to resettle over 400 refugees every year right here in Indianapolis. Not only does Exodus provide these newly arrived community members with furnished apartments, clothing and food to help get them on their feet, they also provide language, cultural orientation and readiness for employment training out of their facilities down at 11th and Brookside. Exodus is always looking for volunteers to help with setting up apartments as well as donations of furniture or money to help in their taking care of these families. Check out their site (soon to be redone) here.
